2026 Timeline

From registration to finals.

Registration opens on 29 June 2026.

  1. Registration Opens

    Teams of three begin registering for the first GAAC season.

  2. Registration Closes

    Final team lists are locked before the qualification stage.

  3. Mock Test

    An optional practice round to familiarize with the exam platform and question format.

  4. Round 1 - Individual Qualification

    40 multiple-choice questions covering all syllabus domains. 1-hour time limit. Every member takes the exam individually; scores contribute to the team total.

  5. Round 2 - Team Challenge

    10 problem-solving questions: 3 Observational Astronomy, 4 Astrophysics, 2 Cosmology, 1 Planetology. Teams collaborate on a shared submission.

  6. Final Results & Certificates

    Winners are announced, and all participants receive their certificates of achievement.
